Portland City Council unanimously voted to refer a $258.4 million affordable housing bond measure to Portland voters in November. The League of Women Voters of Portland supports the measure and urges members to make every effort to help pass it.
The League of Women Voters of Portland has received a Multnomah Bar Foundation grant to hold candidate and ballot measure forums and provide comprehensive voters’ guides prior to the primary and general elections.
LWVUS has adopted a new position on Money in Politics and calls for the Federal Election Commission to be restructured.
